Name

Hello, I'm noa. I also go by ruka.

I'm non-binary, but I don't mind how you refer to me.
He, she, anything is fine - go with what feels natural to you.

What I Do

I'm into programming, Linux, and computers in general.

Just your average tech nerd.

Things I Like

Fluxbox

It just works.
Easy to configure and very usable.
More flexible than i3-wm, customizable keybindings, lightweight—perfect.
The minimalist desktop helps me focus. Highly recommended.

Programming

I use Rust mainly, and I'm learning C and Zig.
It's a lot of fun.

Linux

Ultra-light and awesome.
Especially love the musl version of Void Linux—super light but totally usable.

musl

glibc is heavy and full of non-standard features.
musl is lightweight and POSIX-compliant.
Sure, glibc has convenient stuff like argp,
but musl is minimal. No luxury, and that's the charm.
glibc assumes dynamic linking; static linking is a hassle.
musl prefers static linking; dynamic is optional. I like that.
Minimalist tools fit me.

The UNIX Philosophy

"Do one thing well."
I really believe in that.

Things I Dislike

Ideological Extremes

Like "Rust is the only way! C is dead!"
Or "If it s not OSS, it s garbage! You must say GNU/Linux!"
I can't stand people forcing their views like that.
C still exists for good reasons.
Non-constructive criticism is just noise.

GNU

I don't like the GPL, and I can't agree with Stallman's ideology.
Talking ideals doesn't change anything.
Just quietly write your code.

Wayland

Too many IM bugs, terrible with Nvidia.
Following the latest tech blindly is pointless.

Nvidia

It has improved, but Linux issues are still common.
Even on Windows, it can be flaky.
Honestly, Radeon feels more stable overall.
